Traimeca-Pyro, a public limited company, was created in January 2002 by Marc Chauveau in Urrugne after he decided to develop his business in the world thermowell market. These unique precision parts are used to detect temperatures in different industrial processes in the Oil & Gas sector. They can be found in refineries, petrochemical plants, desalination units, offshore platforms, etc.

The company’s clients are mainly large international groups like Total, British Petroleum and Shell.

Today, Traimeca Pyro is a key player in this very specific and globalised thermowell market.
The company exports over 85% of its production.

Diversification in the field of measurements has been undertaken with the production of orifice plates and adapted flanges.
